TNT's core philosophy is to make technology as simple, efficient, and intuitive as possible.
That is to say that we strive to be honest, upfront, and make your problems our problems. If a system is not worth fixing we will tell you. If a technology is not working well and prone to errors, we will recommend an alternative utilizing as much existing equipment as possible to satisfy your needs. If you have a grand idea but don't know what's involved we can help you understand the details and break it down into understandable pieces. Due to the high costs involved in technology, we can also help you create a technology plan to implement your idea is manageable stages that grow with your needs.
What sets our approach apart from the groves of competition is the attention to detail in analyzing a customers exact needs and then devising creative and intuitive solutions based on what is already available (if possible) rather than push sales of upgrades or replacement equipment.
Simply put, we want to be your technology department.
Tech N' Taboodle LLC (TNT) was conceptualized by Zachary J Welch during his time as a Graduate Student at Rochester Institute of Technology. Through various interactions with professors, local small business owners and friends it became apparent that technology was outgrowing efficiency. This created a need for convenient and affordable solutions to the many frustrating technology problems plaguing small businesses and everyday computer users who rely on technology to conduct their day to day activities.
In the fall of 2005 while standing in line at a large computer chain store witnessing a row of frustrated and irritated patrons one by one be mistreated, condescended to and "ripped off" for simple repair needs, Welch decided it was time to offer a better alternative. TNT was created one month later at the end of October in 2005.
"We don't want to be your temporary geek, nerd, or 'techie,' we want to be your friend. A knowledgeable friend who will listen to your problems and needs then help you, as a good friend should, to find an 'ideal' solution given your circumstances, and continue to be your friend for as long as you need one." -Welch
